Our company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Shipping Department Associate to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of products to our customers while also assisting with general shipping department tasks.

• Operate company vehicles to make timely deliveries to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
• Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling of various materials, including fragile and perishable items.
• Verify orders for accuracy, confirming that all items are delivered to the correct address and recipient.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
• Utilize navigation systems and route planning tools to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing a positive and professional delivery experience, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage logs, delivery confirmations, and other relevant documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures.
• Assist with general shipping department duties, which may include packing, labeling, and organizing products.
• May operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with local delivery routes and navigating using GPS or maps is preferred.
• The ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance, is required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines, are needed.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are needed.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required is needed.

• Extended periods of driving, sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required.
• Sufficient vision and hearing to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently are needed.

• Primarily operates outdoors and in a delivery vehicle, subject to varying weather conditions.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures and physical demands associated with lifting and moving package

Previous maintenance experience preferred. This person will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Mig experience required.
